Shipping & Assembly Policy – Mebin Furniture & Decors

I. Delivery Timeframe & Production

Mebin Furniture operates on a demand-based production model. Delivery times may vary depending on the current factory workload and the complexity of the item.

  • Standard Delivery Time: Expect your order to arrive within 7 to 15 business days.

  • Custom Orders: Delivery timelines for custom-made products will be confirmed upon order placement.

  • Delays: In case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., political unrest, natural disasters), the delivery date may change. We will inform you promptly of any adjustments.

Free Assembly provided by our technical team on the day of delivery (Excluding wall-mounted items).

Self-Assembly Required. Instructions will be provided. Video call support can be arranged upon request.

III. Delivery Charges (Within Bangladesh)

Delivery charges are determined by the total invoice value of the order.

IV. Special Charges (Applicable in Dhaka Only)

  1. Product Lifting Charge: This charge applies only when products need to be carried by stairs.

    • Up to 2nd Floor: Free.

    • From 3rd Floor Onwards: A charge of ৳150 for the first large item, plus ৳20 per additional item per floor.

  2. Wall Mounting: Wall mounting for items like shelves or cabinets is not included in the free assembly service. Additional charges will apply.

V. Payment & Cancellation Terms

  • Standard Order (Under ৳50,000): A 10% confirmation payment is required upon placing the order. The remaining balance is payable upon delivery.

  • Large Order (Over ৳50,000 & Corporate): A 50% confirmation payment is required upon order placement.

  • Order Changes & Cancellations: Regular orders can be changed or cancelled within 2 days of purchase. A cancellation fee may be applied depending on the work stage and materials used.

VI. Delivery Delay & Storage Policy

1. Mebin Delay Penalty:

  • If Mebin Furniture fails to deliver a Standard Product within 17 days of the committed timeline, a penalty of 0.5% of the order value will be applied weekly, payable to the customer.

  • Note: This policy does not apply to custom-made products.

2. Inventory Holding Cost (Customer Delay):

  • If the customer is unable to accept delivery of completed goods within 17 days of being notified of readiness, a storage fee of 0.5% of the order value will be charged weekly until the goods are delivered.

VII. Warranty Note

Mebin Furniture offers a 1-year free service warranty covering any manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover glass, fabric, or artificial leather.
